Get the post that breaks the rules taken down

A false post, a harassing comment, a fake account using your name, a video making claims that are not true. Every major platform has rules against these, and a post that breaks them can be taken down. An honest customer’s post stays up.

A short silent story. A florist is shown a post on a phone and her colleague puts a hand to her mouth: "A false post about you..." A couple read it together, dismayed: "...gets shared fast." The florist laughs on the phone: "We get posts that break the rules taken down." A customer leaves the shop with flowers: "Your name, cleared."

In short

Can a social media post about my business be removed?

Yes, when it breaks the platform’s own rules: false claims, harassment, impersonation, private details, or content used without permission. Erase Trax takes each one on, on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and YouTube, through to the platform’s decision. An honest customer’s post stays up, and the audit is free.

Who this is for

The post your customers keep sending you

A post with your name on it shared in a local group, a reel making claims that are not true, a fake page answering your customers. It travels faster than a review, and it is rarely the whole story.

  • A post makes false claims about your business
  • An account is pretending to be you or your staff
  • Comments under your own posts are abuse, not feedback

What can be taken on

  • A post that breaks the platform’s own rules
  • A comment thread under your post, or someone else’s
  • A shared post in a local group or on a page that names you
  • A video that names you falsely
  • A fake account using your name and logo

Which of the platform’s rules does it break?

  • False claims about the business
  • Harassment, threats or hate
  • Pretending to be you or your staff
  • Your private details
  • Your photos used without permission
Breaks the rules: it can be taken on
  • Every platform, its own rules

Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and YouTube each publish rules on false information, harassment, impersonation, hate and private details. Each post is checked against the rules of the platform it is on.

  • Honest posts stay

A real customer’s honest complaint, however sharp, does not break the rules, and we do not pretend it does. If a post will not come down, we say so at the audit and suggest what will help.

The questions we get asked

More answers on the FAQs page, or ask us directly.

  1. Which platforms do you cover?

Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and YouTube: posts, comments, videos and accounts. If the post is somewhere else, send it at the audit and we will tell you whether it can be taken on.

  2. Can you remove any post I do not like?

No, and nobody honest can. A post comes down only when it breaks the platform’s own rules. A real customer’s honest complaint stays up, and we tell you so at the audit rather than take your money for it.

  3. Who actually removes the post?

The platform does. We take each post on and see it through to the platform’s answer; the decision is theirs. That is why we never promise a result and only bill for removals you can check yourself.

  4. How much does it cost?

The audit is free and there is no retainer. You pay per post only once it is verified gone from the live platform. If nothing comes down, you pay nothing.

  5. How long does it take?

It depends on the platform and the case. Some posts come down within days; others take longer while the platform reviews them. We tell you what to expect for each post at the audit.

  6. Someone made a fake account using our name. Can that come down?

Usually, yes. Every major platform has rules against impersonating a business or a person, and a fake account is one of the clearest cases we take on.
