Google review removal, for reviews that break policy

We get fake, spam and policy-violating reviews taken down from Google, Trustpilot and the other review sites your customers read. Not every bad review can come down: a real customer’s honest review stays up, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something.

A short silent story. A salon owner reads her phone, hand to her forehead: "One unfair review..." A man reads his phone and thinks twice: "...can cost you customers." The owner smiles at her phone: "We get the ones that break the rules taken down." A client smiles in the salon: "Now your rating shows the real you."

In short

Can a fake or unfair Google review be removed?

Only if it breaks the platform’s published policy. A review from someone who was never a customer, a duplicate from linked accounts, abuse or an ad for a rival can qualify, and Erase Trax takes each one on through to a final decision. A genuine bad review stays up, and only verified removals are invoiced.

Who this is for

Bad reviews are costing you customers

A fake one-star arrives overnight from an account with no history, about a visit that never happened. It sits near the top of your profile, every new customer reads it first, and some of them call someone else.

  • A one-star from someone you have no record of
  • A rival or an angry ex-employee posting false reviews
  • The same complaint on several sites, word for word

  • A written verdict on every review

The free audit goes through your profile review by review, against the platform’s published policies. Each one is marked “can come down” or “stays up”, with the reason in plain words, including the ones you will not like.

  • A clear status for each review

Every review taken on shows where it stands: waiting, removed or stayed up. Nothing for you to file, no forms to learn and no login to hand over.

  • Proof on every invoice line

Each line names one removal, with screenshots of your live profile before and after it came down. A review that stayed up is not on the invoice.

Examples are illustrative, drawn from the work this page describes.

Straight answer

What comes down, and what does not

The platform makes every final decision. This is what experience says is worth taking on, and what is not.

Can come down5

  • Reviews from people who were never customers
  • Reviews describing a different business entirely
  • Spam, duplicates or bulk reviews from linked accounts
  • A rival or ex-employee reviewing with a conflict of interest
  • Personal attacks, slurs and abuse

Stays up5

  • A genuine customer who had a bad experience
  • A low rating with no explanation, left by a real customer
  • Criticism that is accurate but unflattering
  • A fair complaint about price, waiting or service
  • An old review you would simply rather not see

A review like that can come down. A real customer’s bad day cannot, and the audit tells you which is which.

  1. Can I turn off Google reviews on my Business Profile?

No. Google does not let a business switch reviews off or hide the ones it dislikes: every profile can be reviewed. What you can do is reply to genuine reviews and ask Google to remove the ones that break its policies, which is the part we take on, billed only once a removal is verified.

  2. Why are reviews disappearing from my Google profile?

Usually Google’s own spam filters. They hold back or remove reviews that look fake, incentivized or posted from accounts that trip its checks, sometimes genuine five-star ones too, and some reappear later. A business cannot switch this off, and nobody outside Google can restore a review it has filtered; the fix is a steady flow of honest reviews.

  3. Can you remove any negative review?

No, and we will tell you that at the audit rather than after you have paid. We pursue reviews that breach the platform’s published policy — fake, spam, never-a-customer, wrong business, abuse. A real customer describing a real experience stays up, and the better answer there is a good public reply.

  4. Is this legal?

Yes. We only take on reviews that break the platform’s own published policies, and nothing we do puts your listing at risk. We do not access your account, we do not need your login, and we do not create or buy accounts of any kind.

  5. How long does it take?

The audit comes back within 24 hours. Once a case is opened, a straightforward one is often decided in days; a contested one takes longer to reach a final decision. We do not control the platform’s queue, so we report progress rather than promise a date.

  6. Do you guarantee removal?

No. Anyone who guarantees a removal is guaranteeing a decision that is not theirs to make. What we guarantee is the pricing: if nothing comes down, there is nothing to pay.

  7. Do you need access to my Google account?

No. We handle it for you, from the outside. You never hand over login details, and we would not ask for them.

  8. What happens after the reviews are removed?

Your rating is worked out again without them. To keep it strong we can watch your profiles, so a new fake review reaches you within a business day, and ask your happy customers for reviews, so genuine ones keep arriving. Both are separate weekly services; removal itself is still paid only per verified removal.

  9. What happens to reviews that cannot be removed?

We say so plainly and suggest the route that does work — a reply that reads well to the next customer, monitoring so the next one is caught early, or social media post removal where the problem is a false post on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok rather than a review on your profile.
