Google review removal service in London

Most people who see your profile have never met you. A tourist looking for somewhere to eat, someone new to the area, a commuter trying a place near work: none of them know you, so one fake review makes the decision for them before you get a chance.

In short

Can a London business get a fake Google review removed?

Yes, when it violates one of Google’s public policies: a fake review, spam, an off-topic post, a review with a motive, or one that goes too far. Being hard to read is not enough. Erase Trax checks your profile for free and you pay only once a review is actually gone. Google makes every final decision.

What counts

Which Google reviews can actually be removed?

A review does not come down just for being hard to read. It comes down when it violates policy, and those policies are public, so anyone can check them.

Can come down5

  • Fake reviews. Left by someone who was never a customer, or from an account made just to hurt your rating.
  • Spam. Reviews full of links or ads, or the same complaint pasted onto several other business pages.
  • Off-topic reviews. Comments about the wrong place, or something that has nothing to do with your business at all.
  • Reviews with a motive. Left by a rival, a former employee, or someone who wants your rating lower on purpose.
  • Reviews that go too far. Threats, slurs, or posts that share someone’s private details without asking.

Stays up1

  • A genuine bad visit, even at one star. If a real customer had a bad time and said so, that review stays up, even at one star, and we will not pretend otherwise. If nothing on your profile violates policy, the audit says so and costs nothing.
What it costs you

What a bad review really costs you

Plenty of reviews violate Google’s policies. In a city where most customers are strangers, one of them goes a long way.

  • New customers have nothing else to judge you on

A fake review is often the only impression they get, and it shapes their whole decision.

  • Your search ranking drops too

Ratings affect how often Google shows your business. Fewer stars means fewer people see you at all.

  • Competition is always close by

In a city this busy, losing a customer to a fake review usually means losing them to the business next door.

  • Checking is free

There is no cost and no obligation if nothing on your profile actually qualifies.

The law in the UK

Is it legal to remove Google reviews in London?

Fake reviews have been a banned practice across the UK since 6 April 2025, under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act, and the Competition and Markets Authority now enforces that law itself. None of it takes a review off a London listing, though. Each one still has to be taken to Google, and that is the part we handle.

  • Google’s policies, nothing else

Never a shortcut. Bought reviews, bot networks and so-called suppression tools are what get a London Business Profile suspended, and we use none of them.

  • Billed for removals, not effort

A review that stays up costs nothing, which is why we only take on the ones we think Google will act on.

  • Every review tracked

From the day a review is taken on to the day Google decides on it, its status is there for you to check.

Timing

How long does it take to remove a review?

There is no fixed timetable: Google decides in its own queue. What we can tell you is which of your reviews tend to be decided first.

  • Adverts and wrong-branch reviews

A review touting a rival’s number, or one about a branch you do not have, is the plainest kind of breach.

  • Accounts that look real

A fake profile with a photo and a few other reviews takes longer to be seen for what it is.

  • Your reviews, one by one

The free check says which group each of your reviews falls into, rather than one estimate for the lot.

Who we help

London businesses we help

London is full of people who had never heard of you before today. With that many strangers and that much competition, your rating often decides things before you even meet them.

  • Restaurants and cafés

People pick somewhere new on the star rating alone, often before looking at the menu. A fake review at the top sends them next door.

  • Hotels and serviced apartments

Guests booking from far away have nothing else to judge you on. One fake review can cost a booking you never had a fair shot at.

  • Dentists and private clinics

New patients trust what past patients wrote. A fake complaint can outweigh years of good, careful care.

  • Tradespeople and home services

Plumbers, electricians and builders lose jobs they never got to quote for, because of one unfair review sitting on top.

  • Beauty salons and barbers

People book almost entirely off ratings here. One fake one-star can quietly empty a diary.

  • Removal and storage firms

People moving into or across London rely heavily on reviews before they book. A fake review can send that business elsewhere.

  • Solicitors and financial advisers

Clients search your name before they check your credentials. What they find should be true.

  • Estate and letting agents

One misleading review can stop a buyer or tenant booking a viewing before they have even messaged you.

Working with us

Four stages. You pay once a review is gone, not before.

  1. Free audit

Send the link to your London listing, or to each branch. Every review is read and the likely breaches are marked. Free.

  2. Case opened

Only the reviews you approve are taken on. You never hand over a login.

  3. The platform decides

Google decides on each review in its own time. A first refusal is often not the last word, and the status of each is visible to you.

  4. Removed. Now you pay.

The invoice lists only reviews verified gone from the live listing, at the price agreed before we started.

Can you remove a review about a branch we do not have?

Usually, yes. In a city with this many similar names, reviews meant for another business or another branch are common, and a review about somewhere else is off-topic under Google’s policies.

We have several London branches. Is that one case?

Each branch has its own Google listing and its own reviews, so each is checked on its own. One audit covers all of them.

What does this cost a London business?

No upfront fee and no monthly charge for removal. The check is free; each removal is billed only once verified gone, at a price agreed in writing first.

Should I flag it myself before coming to you?

You can, and it costs nothing. Owner flags are often turned down because they argue that a review is unfair rather than showing which policy it violates.

What happens if Google refuses?

A refusal is not always final. If a review still stays up at the end, you are not charged for it.

Could this put my Business Profile at risk?

No. Profiles get suspended for buying reviews or using automated tools. Everything here goes through Google’s official process.

Do you cover all of London?

Every borough, from Westminster to Croydon, and the rest of the UK too, plus the USA, Canada, Australia and the UAE. There is no London office; a UK phone line reaches the team.
